Armenia – Mount Ararat

After it rained for forty days, Noah’s ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat, and after receiving annunciation from the Dove, Noah came out of the Ark with his sons and animals

I haven’t had the chance to get actually close to the Mount Ararat during my visit to Armenia, but the Ararat’s presence is felt in and from every sacred and historical place I have visited in Armenia. This is characteristic of a marvel that turned to be the soul of a Nation.
