Eurasian Diaries is a non-profit, non-commercial, non-political initiative aiming at sharing and promoting the Eurasian and Russian cultural, historical and civilisational heritages. By promoting this heritage, we also hope to connect people :
- who share this fascination
- are willing to contribute to international friendship and cooperation
Type of contents:
We publish posts on history, culture, monuments, architecture, art and historical figures.
Editorial team
The editorial team as of April 2025 comprises me, Mikhail TALEB HACINE. I look forward to see other passionate people join me in this initiative. Further in this charter, “we” refers to the Editorial team.
Requirements on posts and contributions
We submit the posts to certain requirements :
- Historical accuracy
- Personal writing and no generative AI-writing
- A permanent strive for tolerance and respect of all cultural and religious diversity
- A cautious and neutral handling of different historical representations
- A promotion of institutions limited to museums, foundations and other cultural institutions
- Citing your sources as much as possible
- Citing the museum if you publish photos of artworks exposed at it
Posts submission and validation
Please submit your posts to the editorial team for validation through the most suitable channel for you.
My commitment towards our contributors
I have a certain responsibility towards you,
I will notify our contributors of any evolution of this charter.
I refrain from any public political activity. My presence online (comments or reactions on posts) is limited to universally admissible positions and encouragement of development, international cooperations and tolerance. This is my duty as founder toward this blog and obligation to keep both the blog and our esteemed contributors from any political marking.
I will inform you of any partnership or support we graciously provide to other organisation and initiatives
We will inform you on any extension of our website to other channels or social networks.
Our commitment as editorial team towards our contributors
- We pledge to give you a feedback as soon as possible on the proposed posts
- Any feedback will focus on the rules of the charter, never on your own take and substance
- We post your publications under your name, with your contact informations if you will
- We will add you to the list of contributors with a short description of yourself if you will
- We will bring no alteration to your post
- You keep full rights over your publications, and it cas be removed at your request
- We will facilitate further improvements of your content : Improvements or additions to your post are also possible at your request and fall under the same rules above.
- We will help your visibility : we will promote your post on the site, the newsletter, and our LinkedinPage with a clear mention of your name and link to your profiles on social network like Linkedin at your request and permission.
Sharing content from other platforms
The editorial team may share some contents from other platforms (LinkedIn). We ensure to get the authorisation to share these contents from their authors, in case these are individual authors rather than institutional authors.
We will ensure that the shared content aligns with the requirements listed in 1)

We do not make a commercial use nor share the personal data you may share or communicate us to any third party, nor do we make any commercial use of it
We refer you to our data privacy policy.
