The best introduction to Armenia’s history ? The Erebuni fortress and museum in Yerevan. Besides the ruin of the old fortress, you will find a rich exposition of objects and descriptions of the early history of Armenia.

All around the ruins, there are signs indicating support from foreign countries for the preservation of the place. Most – if not all of them – are completely washed out.
